a better use for our money?

It’s said that, all told, $6 billion will be spent on the 2012 presidential election.

I can’t help but wonder how many children that would feed, or educate, or pay health care costs for. How many factories or schools could be kept open. How many college scholarships could be provided. How many roads and bridges repaired.

Maybe if we gave money to the thing that we feel most strongly about, or that actually needs our support, rather than to the person we think will help get us that thing we’d all be better off.

Or maybe that’s just me.

Our Money? Not mine, I don’t give to those misfits. How much have you given to the 2012 presidential election? If it is zero then it is not your money either. Or if you have, mMaybe you should think of some charities that would help those that really need the money as you listed in your blog. But, for those that give, they do so because they can give and they choose to give and because in our Country they are free to give. The are also free to burn their money which might be a better thing. But they take nothing form me so don’t call it “our money”. It is not my money, I give my money to help others, not presidental hopefuls.
