My husband and I are having a bit of a disagreement over each gender’s basic responses to images of “buff” members of the opposite sex.
I am enlisting your help.
If you’re a woman, or a man who is physically/sexually interested in men, pick the sentence that best describes your reaction to this image:
A) Sign me up, here’s my phone number_______________ (please, don’t actually include your phone number).
B) Nice to look at, but I would be intimidated by his physical perfection.
C) I prefer “my” men more ____________ (feel free to fill in the blank; keep it R rated please).
D) No thanks, this man obviously spends too much time in the gym.

Please honor the scientific intent of this unofficial study, and only answer the question which applies to your particular preference.

C/D: I prefer “my” men more real and less muscular.
G: I prefer “my” women more squishy/curvy and less air-brushy.
Oh, and my partner says “‘I’: I’m more worried about how much time she spends tanning.” My daughter had to say this: “C or D and G.” She prefers her “men” (she’s 10, folks) less muscular and without facial hair, and her “women” (girls) with more meat and less tanning (“and not blonde!”).
There, three for the typing fingers of one.
100% “A”. I can’t imagine being intimidated by that if it were even remotely possible to be with someone that gorgeous. I’d just oil him up and put him in the corner of my bedroom, with a light shining on him, much like a sculpture, just to enjoy! My first response, not listed, was “YumEEEEEEEE!”.
G: I prefer my women with more obvious muscles, more of a “working” body. Not like a body builder, but less decorative and more functional …maybe like this:

Definitley, D.
I hate when muscles upstage one’s natural features and, sometimes, personality.
